Deep anodized aluminum woofers and tweeters, Kapton former material, and an asymmetrical 3rd order crossover takes the series into the stratosphere. These lightweight and durable materials deliver low distortion, exceptional dynamics, and enhanced soundstage. Nonconductive Kapton improves magnetic field stability.

Nice Premium Toolless Speakers deliver elevated audio performance with advanced materials, toolless installation, and uncompromised design. The crossover is an asymmetrical 2nd-order low pass filter on woofer and 3rd-order high pass filter on tweeter, designed to optimize each driver’s performance with improved phase alignment, with a 3-position tweeter level switch for fine tuning the high frequencies.

In A Toolless Design

Nice SC3 delivers outstanding performance and flexibility with six models, all featuring black Kevlar woofers, and 1.25″ aluminum magnesium tweeters, which are 56.3% larger than their 1″ cousins. This results in more power at a lower crossover point, enhanced off-axis power response, and low-distortion.

Kevlar is thin, stiff and light weight which improves transient response and dynamics, aluminum magnesium alloy has superior dampening properties, rigidity and strength- delivering impeccable detail. SC3 introduces a copper shorting ring (Faraday shield) into the design, which helps reduce distortion, improve efficiency while achieving a more consistent impedance across the frequency range.

The asymmetrical crossover with a 3rd-order network encompassing 2nd-order LPF on woofer and 3rd-order HFP on the tweeter ensures superior integration between the woofer and tweeter. Compensation for inter driver time delay. A three-position tweeter level switch for fine tuning the high frequencies, and two position voice switch to allow fine tuning of the soundstage and vocal focus to taste.

This combination is typical in high-end audiophile speakers, and yields an exceptional crisp, clear and dynamic musical performance.
