The Nice/SpeakerCraft AIM Mk 3 features updated voicing to support modern installations demanding sonic performance for distributed audio and advanced object-based surround audio platforms such as Dolby Atmos, Auro-3D, and DTS:X. The refined crossover design employs both symmetrical and asymmetrical Linkwitz-Riley filtering circuits which help improve phase coherence, acoustic symmetry, power handling, and deliver a smooth transition between frequency bands.

Inspired by the line arrays used in concert venues, the high frequency array features up to four tweeters oriented along a pivoting arc. They are fed in phase to constructively interfere with each other, sending high frequency sound waves farther into the listening area than traditional loudspeakers with a more carefully defined sound output pattern.

The enhanced aim-ability of AIM Mk 3 presents new options for sound design — from home theater to whole home audio. Sound can be directed to a specific section of a room, angled toward a seating area or wherever an audio impact is desired. Simply put, the AIM Mk 3 has been designed for heightened aesthetics and enhanced performance.
