Nice SC3 delivers outstanding performance and flexibility with six models, all featuring black Kevlar woofers, and 1.25″ aluminum magnesium tweeters, which are 56.3% larger than their 1″ cousins. This results in more power at a lower crossover point, enhanced off-axis power response, and low-distortion.

Kevlar is thin, stiff and light weight which improves transient response and dynamics, aluminum magnesium alloy has superior dampening properties, rigidity and strength- delivering impeccable detail. SC3 introduces a copper shorting ring (Faraday shield) into the design, which helps reduce distortion, improve efficiency while achieving a more consistent impedance across the frequency range.

The asymmetrical crossover with a 3rd-order network encompassing 2nd-order LPF on woofer and 3rd-order HFP on the tweeter ensures superior integration between the woofer and tweeter. Compensation for inter driver time delay. A three-position tweeter level switch for fine tuning the high frequencies, and two position voice switch to allow fine tuning of the soundstage and vocal focus to taste.

This combination is typical in high-end audiophile speakers, and yields an exceptional crisp, clear and dynamic musical performance.

• Metal is stronger than Plastic — Custom designed metal frames are stiffer, more stable, with less transmission loss through the ceiling than typical injection molded frames.
• Rust Resistant Grills — All models include a paintable bezelless stainless-steel grill, which resists rust naturally. In-wall models include a rectangular grill.
