The re-engineered AIM252 Mk3 features a ±15° pivoting 5¼" glass fiber cone woofer paired with the ARC Tweeter Array — three 5/8" aluminum/magnesium dome tweeters arranged along a pivoting arc with 359° of rotation. The updated crossover employs symmetrical and asymmetrical Linkwitz-Riley filtering to improve phase coherence and deliver a seamless transition between frequency bands. WavePlane™ technology acts as an acoustic lens, focusing high-frequency energy for cleaner, wider dispersion, while Acoustic Isolation Technology™ decouples the speaker housing from surrounding materials to eliminate structural resonance and color — you hear the speaker as it is meant to sound. The result is precisely aimable, room-filling audio that excels in both distributed audio and immersive surround formats like Dolby Atmos®, Auro-3D®, and DTS:X®.
